Board

The Board of Aalto Cocktail is responsible for all the activities of the Association and its development, as well as the coordination of the committees. The Board ensures that Aalto Cocktail is, and will continue to be, Aalto University's most influential hobby club, which brings cocktail culture into student life.

Responsibilities of the Board

CHAIRPERSON

  • Organizes the boards work and assists other board members in their work

  • Has the main responsibility of the government of the association and represents Aalto Cocktail in official capacity

VICE CHAIR + TREASURER

  • Keeps the association books and prepares the yearly financial statements

  • Coordinates association billing, payment transactions and reimbursements of expenses

  • Assists the Chairperson in their duties

MARKETING OFFICER

  • Governs associations email lists, members register and websites

  • Coordinates association communications channels, like websites and social media

  • Has the main responsibility of marketing the associations events and work

  • Co-Chair of the Communications Committee

BARMASTERS (2)

  • Responsible for organizing Cocktail Workshops and events within our own space

  • Acts as the Chair of event committee

  • Bringing new vision and expertise to drinks and actively develops their skills

CLUB ROOM OFFICER (2)

  • Have the main responsibility of the operations and development of the club space

  • Have the main responsibility of the renting of the event space

  • Acts as the chairman of the Club Room Committee

  • Handles logistics for the club

GIGS OFFICER (1)

  • Responsible for Aalto Cocktail’s gigs

  • Leads a Gigs team

COMMUNITY OFFICER (2)

  • Has the main responsibility of the members of the club and their needs and benefits

  • Has the main responsibility of organizing Member Nights and casual hangouts for members at the club room

  • Coordinates association recruiting of new members and marketing the club as a community

  • Co-Chair of the Communications Committee
